a movie

Watched 'Ocean's eleven' the other day and found that I no longer enjoy movies which celebrate people's ingenuity in crime. To me movies that deal with what is best and brightest in the human spirit, or those that deal with the ordinary lives of men and women are much more memorable and enjoyable (not withstanding George Clooney and Brad Pitt). I wonder whether I'm going old too fast?

  2. No, your tastes are just changing. I used to love good murder mysteries; now I'm not in the mood for them at all.

  4. I agree w/ you. Why take in more negative thoughts just to watch a movie.

  5. I remember when they removed the Westerns because they said there was too much gun shooting and violence- but at least in the Westerns the good guy usually won and the bad guy went to jail.
Today there is too much violence for kids to grow up watching.

  6. "not withstanding George Clooney and Brad Pitt" That's tough :) I know what you mean though.

I agree with "Esbee". Tastes change all the time. I was noticing today, I was thinking of the colour for the walls and it is totally different to the one I had in mind a year ago! :)
